Today was the first day of the conference. Or actually, the add-on day before the conference. There were about 120 people attending one of the three tracks offered. I have never been amongst that many people sharing a passion of mine. To sit in the room listening to the speaker, listen to the questions of fellow readers, listen to the discussions ... wow. And sitting in the hotel dining room at lunch and hear all the chatter about writing ... unbelievable.
The official start of the conference is Friday and I can't wait to be amongst even more writers. And agents. And editors. And publishers. I'm soaking it all in and will post details after the conference ends.
